Description:

The Ultimate Spotlight is a weekly live show and song building challenge with live shows at Blush Ultra Lounge, 2847 Buford hwy Atlanta GA and TV taping at SEIDEMG Productions.

Founded by 4 time Showtime at The Apollo winner Chuck Dobey and SEIDEMG Management, this live show and song challenge is the only artists competition of it‘s kind. Singers, Songwriters, Rappers & Producers may submit into over 8 categories, including: Jazz, Pop, Rhythm & Blues, Hip Hop, Rap, Inspirational, Reggae, Latin (with English Version), Dance and Soul. The song(s) submitted must have a message of self reflection, enlightenment and encouraging positive change [lyrics should be accompanied by music, but is not mandatory]. Singers, Songwriters rappers may submit as many times as they like [new or already created songs can be submitted].

Entries will be judged by a panelist of music industry professionals, including SEIDEMG Management, iwovumusic senior Staff, Taj Mahal (Too Short, Jazze Pha, Lil Jon, Rocko), Rhonda Railey (Divas on Demand), Will Hustle (Will Hustle TV), and Chuck Dobey (4 time Showtime at The Apollo winner).

The judges will give each song a rating between 1 and 10 for each of the following criteria: originality, melody, composition and lyrics.

The winner of the song contest will receive the following:

1. The winning song will be chosen as theme Song placement for both the Live & Recorded show for TV.
a. The winning theme song will be tagged as the new theme song for the live and recorded show for TV. The winning contestant will receive publish and mechanical rights each time the song is aired.

2. The artist of the winning song will get paid to perform the song live.
a. The winning song contestant will be booked for a 30 minute set at a live show and TV taping where they will be able to perform the winning theme song as well as other original tracks. Performance rate will be set and negotiated by IWOVUMUSIC.COM.

3. The song will be added to a promoted and distributed compilation and mixtape.
a. The theme song will be added to the IWOVUMUSIC compilation and mixtapes as original song and remixes which will be sold for profit with partial proceeds returning to copyright claimant.

1. Is there a limit to the number of songs that will be considered per artist/band? If so, how many?

A: No limit.

2. Is the contest genre specific? If so, what genres are accepted?

3. What are the prizes for your contest?

1. Do you own the copyrights to your music?

2. Are there Co-Writers to the song and lyrics being submitted? If yes, please submit all copyright owners?

Contest Rules & Regulations

1. Songs must be between 3-4 minutes in length.

2. There must be no profanity in the lyrics.

3. Song must not contain any artists or athletes names.

4. If you are creating the song from scratch, it is encouraged to have names of multiple cities including Atlanta.

5. For new songs being written...the hook (chorus) must include “The Ultimate Spotlight."
